Why are your items much cheaper than the stores?
This is a very good question. We are usually a third or at least a half the price of the stores as we get these items directly from the source and sell them directly to you. The items we do sell we buy in bulk so that we are always cheaper. This is achieved while still providing the highest possible quality. We do NOT achieve this price by sacrificing quality, we achieve this by buying bulk. The down side to this is when you compare us to a retail shop we only have a fraction of the range, we are only opened a fraction of the time (for pickups) and we do not have the resources to do things like give you a lesson in the items use or set the item up according to your height, draw length and strength, all of this is usually available from a retail shop but off cause you pay for this when the item is twice the price.
Why are my arrows flights / nocks the wrong way around?
There are two types of nock position.
One position is set so that the odd colour flight faces either up or down when connected to the string, this is often referred to as the "free hand" nock position. This is usually preferred for the antelope (or drop away) arrow rests as the odd colour flight travels between the two guides on the arrows rest.
The other position has the nock position 90% to the position mentioned above meaning that the odd coloured flight faces left or right when attached to the string, this is usually referred to as the "international standard" flight position, this will work with a leaf arrow rest.
Either of these standard will work on any compound bow if you change the type of arrow rest. We sell leaf arrow rests for $9.95 for a pack of 10.
How do I adjust the bow strength?
You adjust the bow strength by tightening or loosening the two bolts at the front of the bow that attach the bow limbs to the riser (the middle piece). This should only ever be done with a bow that is adjustable as some are not. Firstly always tighten the bow bolt to the very tightest setting so that you have a starting point, then you gradually loosen each bolt (half rotation each bolt at a time) until to reach the required strength. Never loosen the bolts more than 3.5 full rotations as there will not be enough thread on the bow to keep it all together.
Yes we usually have almost all parts available as spares, please contact us for a quote on the part you need.
How do I setup this bow?
Please contact us if you bow did not come with a setup instruction booklet as we can email you an electronic version. This will also soon be available in our support/ downloads section.
Why do you have a pickup fee?
We are actually am importer not a retail shop. I can guarentee that a retail shop will not charge you the pickup fee, I can also guarentee you that a retail shop's prices will differ from mine. We started our business and continue to operate as a e-business. e.g we are not and never have been a retail store but are a wholesaler or distributor. We primarily only meet couriers and removalists at out warehouse to make deliveries. Recently we have allowed customers to meet us at our warehouse for pickup, in doing so we had to increase expenditure on Public Liability Insurance that was not required before in addition to expenses on safety and security for public access. To do so we have opted to pass on a small fee to all people that pickup items instead of increasing our prices on all products in all cases.
Will this item be seized by Australia Post / Customs before it gets to me?
Currently this is not a prohibited or restricted weapon in any state or territory in Australia. Nor is there any restrictions for postage in Australia. Nor is it considered a dangerous good for postage with Australia Post. This information is current as of Feb 2012 but may change at any point so please be aware of the laws in your own state. Usually these laws will be covered in the Prohibited Weapons act in your state and are usually under the Police Firearms registry in your state. Lastly, as I am posting from Australia to Australia, Customs do not get involved (as they control goods coming in to Australia from overseas not domestically).

The poundage indicated on my bow on the sticker and also on the box is different to the poundage that was in the add and that I thought I was buying?
The poundage (lbs) indictaed on the bow and also the box for the bow is the poundage that the bow comes set as from the factory. This is NOT an indication of the minimum or maximum poundage setting for the bow. In fact often this indication can be incorrect also as we often adjust the bow to be closer to the poundage that we have advertised the bow as. Most of our bows are adjustable so the marked poundage indicated on the bow and box mean very very little as they are just the factory's default setting.
